English-Spanish and Spanish-English translations for all of your adoption-related needs.
I am the mother of an adorable son and a beautiful daughter who we adopted from Guatemala in 2006 and 2007. Our family is waiting to add one more baby from Guatemala, who will be coming home soon!
Born in the US to an Ecuadorian mother and father raised in Venezuela, I was brought up speaking only Spanish in the home. As a result, I am fluent in a way that many who have learned Spanish in school are not. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics and have many similar translations under my belt. Most importantly, I understand what online translators don't:
Accurate verb conjugation
Intelligible translation of idioms
Correct translation of multiple-meaning words
I can help you...
Give your foster mother important instructions or information to use with your child
Send updates on your child's development to her birthmother or foster mother
Understand their replies
Translate non-adoption related documents
I charge a flat fee of 10 cents per word. There is no minimum or maximum number of words required.
I accept credit cards and instant transfers via Paypal. This is the fastest way to get your document translated. I also accept personal checks and money orders; however, be aware that there will be a waiting period while these clear before you receive your translation.
Email me your request at translations@adoptiontranslations.com. Either copy and paste your letter into the body of the email, or send it as an attachment.
I will send you an invoice and wait for payment, while working hard on your translation.
Once payment has been received and cleared, I will email your translated document back to you as an attached Word file.
